OAKLAND (KRON) — It was labeled a celebration of all that is good in Oakland.
It is called the Hiero Day music festival.
The festival happened in West Oakland.
But according to a number of business owners, it was completely different from how it was presented to them.
Apparently, crowds rushed the gate to avoid paying the almost $20 entry fee
And the massive crowds left behind something else, including boxes filled with empty tequila bottles.
KRON’s Stanley Roberts explains.
