SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Mateo County police departments band together every month and target individual cities by saturating streets with traffic officers.
It is called the San Mateo County Traffic Enforcement Program, also known as STEP. In previous segments, KRON rode with officers, and now, it is time to talk to some of the people who were caught.
Traffic violations Stanley Roberts caught drivers doing include speeding and texting while driving. And no, bathroom emergencies do not always get you out of a ticket.
