ANTIOCH (KRON) — KRON 4’s Stanley Roberts was in Antioch, shooting video of the hostage and standoff situation, when he came across some people who weren’t happy to see him. Namely, the suspect’s family.
Roberts was shooting video when a woman came up to him and pushed his camera. She also had a message for her with her finger.
Police on scene had to intervene, telling the woman that, legally, Stanley is allowed to shoot video on public property and that grabbing his camera is not acceptable.
She wasn’t the only person behaving badly at the hostage situation.
Stanley also caught a bystander trying to snag items from inside a paramedic vehicle. Some upset first responders seem to have nipped that in the bud.
