Pedestrian seriously injured on Market Street

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured while running across Market Street early Wednesday morning, according to police.

The pedestrian, a man in his late 40s, was hit around 12:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Market Street.


A four-door blue Acura heading east on Market Street struck the pedestrian, who was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a broken arm, broken leg and head trauma, injuries that are considered

life-threatening, police said.

The Acura driver was not arrested, according to police.
