SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian is suffering life-threatening injuries after stepping into traffic in San Francisco’s Mission District early Friday morning.
The pedestrian, a 33-year-old-man, was walking on Mission Street near 20th Street around 12:33 a.m., when he stepped into traffic and was struck by a vehicle, according to police.
The man was then struck by a second vehicle and knocked unconscious, suffering facial fractures in the crash, police said.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to police, no arrests were made.Bay City News contributed to this report.
