SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian was killed while trying to walk up the off-ramp the the U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco Sunday evening.
The medical examiner has identified that woman as 24-year-old Abisai May Dzul of San Francisco.
Around 9:08 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol got a call about a person walking up the Alemany Boulevard off-ramp to the northbound Hwy 101.
Shortly after that, CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said they got another call, this time that a car had hit that pedestrian.
Medical personnel tried to revive the person, but they were unable to do so.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
