SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — A car struck a pedestrian and then a pole in San Francisco’s Richmond District this afternoon, sending at least two people to the hospital, a police spokeswoman said.
The collision was reported at about 2:30 p.m. near the corner of 46th Avenue and Fulton Street, according to the fire department.
An ambulance was called for a pedestrian with chest pain, police Officer Grace Gatpandan said. A second ambulance was called for the car’s driver.
A San Francisco Municipal Railway bus was in the area at the time but was not involved in the crash, Muni officials said. There are some delays to bus service in the area.
