SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian was hit by a car in the South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood in San Francisco Wednesday evening.
The accident happened around 5:10 p.m. near the intersection of Seventh and Townsend streets.
Officers with the San Francisco Police Department say that a dark gray Nissan Altima was turning from northbound Seventh Street to Townsend street when the driver hit a woman.
The pedestrian was injured and taken away in an ambulance. The Nissan’s windshield was shattered.
The Nissan’s driver stayed at the scene, just outside the Pinterest offices, and cooperated with police.
