SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck in San Francisco Thursday morning, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The crash was reported at 5:06 a.m. at the connector between westbound Interstate Highway 80 to northbound U.S. Highway 101.

The fourth lane on the connector from Highway 80 to Highway 101 were blocked, CHP officials said. All lanes have since been reopened.

The crashed involved a gray 1997 Ford Ranger.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.Stay with KRON4 News for updates.
