VALLEJO (KRON) — A parent says that a teacher at Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo is now under investigation after being accused of sexually assaulting one of his students.

The teen’s father says that for months he couldn’t find anybody at the school district who would take his phone call about the situation, until Friday.

On Thursday the parent spoke to KRON 4 about his concerns. It hadn’t even been a full day since that story aired that Linda Kingston, the principal at Jesse Bethel High School called the parent back.

According to the parent, Kingston told him teacher will not be here today from this day forward so you don’t have to worry about him being in class with him.”

The parent thinks it was a police report that he filed that got the school to take notice.

He said the principal told him the teacher will be removed from the classroom for the remainder of the school year, but he is not sure if the teacher is planning on returning to school in the fall.
