(KRON) — The Carolina Panthers lost to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium by 14 points with a final score of 24-10.
However, there was salt added to the wounds of the Panthers. Well, at least to one player in particular. Linebacker Thomas Davis played in the biggest game of the year with a broken arm.
Despite the injury and a cast on his arm, Thomas had seven tackles in the Super Bowl which was the second most on Carolina.
Thomas played with a metal plate, 11 screws, and over 40 stitches on his broken arm.
