Both sides of Pacheco Boulevard at Highway 4 has been shut down after a major accident on Thursday afternoon.
A car hit a pole just before 4 p.m., PG&E said. The accident caused a power outage in the area.

There is no estimated time of the road reopening.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
PG&E will be working throughout the night to fix the issue.
