The owner of a tree service is dead on Thursday night after a tree he was cutting with a chainsaw snapped and fell on him.
The incident happened on West Dry Creek Road in Healdsburg at around 3 p.m.
There, 48-year-old Luis Garcia was cutting a tree when the tree suddenly came down.
Two of Garcia’s employees tried to give him CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Authorities are investigating the death.
