SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — KRON4 has obtained a viewer photo that apparently shows another Uber self-driving Volvo SUV running a red light in San Francisco.

The pictures, from an anonymous viewer, were taken on Sunday at 10:56 a.m. on Harrison Street at 4th Street.

The viewer told KRON4 that the Uber SUV exited a warehouse on Harrison Street with a person seated in the driver seat.

As the viewer, the Uber SUV, and other vehicles approached the intersection of 4th Street, the light reportedly turned yellow.

The viewer and other vehicles proceeded to stop, the viewer said.

However, the Uber SUV reportedly hesitated at the yellow light, appearing to stop, but ultimately continued through the intersection.

By this time, the light had turned red, the viewer said.

The viewer is only sharing these images with KRON4 News.

KRON4 has reached out to Uber for a statement on this new incident.

This comes after another viewer sent KRON4 video of a different incident where an Uber apparently ran the red light.

The DMV has issued the following statement on the first driverless car incident:

The California DMV encourages the responsible exploration of self-driving cars. We have a permitting process in place to ensure public safety as this technology is being tested. Twenty manufacturers have already obtained permits to test hundreds of cars on California roads. Uber shall do the same.

Uber has issued this statement on the first incident as well:

This incident was due to human error. This is why we believe so much in making the roads safer by building self-driving Ubers. This vehicle was not part of the pilot and was not carrying customers. The driver involved has been suspended while we continue to investigate.
