OAKLAND (KRON) — A father is making a desperate plea for help after he said his son was pushed and fell 50 feet from the upper-level ledge at Oracle Arena right after Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The father said the person who did it is still out there. And he reached out to KRON for help.

J.R Stone spoke to the father in a story you will only see on KRON.

“My son came from Los Angeles to come see the Warriors game,” father Ronnie Bimbo said. “It was his dream to come to see a Warriors playoff game. My son’s dream turned into a nightmare.”

His son, 21-year-old Salvator, a Warriors fan, is in the intensive care unit at Highland Hospital in Oakland. He is in stable condition.

He will undergo surgery on his elbow Wednesday morning.

“My son’s cheekbone is smashed, his nose, his upper-eye, his head, his brain,” Ronnie said. “He’s leaking from his ears blood. Not very good. He’s a beautiful young man. Did not deserve this.”

Salvator’s brother was at the game that night. He told his father that Salvator, who is a husband and father of two, was pushed over a ledge by a rival fan.

According to Ronnie, a fight broke out on the upper level after the game. His son was caught in the middle of the melee and started video recording it.

“That somebody picked him up from his legs and pushed him over while he was recording,” Ronnie said. “There was a fight and that somebody pushed him over the ledge that’s there.”

No arrests have been made in the case. Family members are heartbroken and hoping that witnesses come forward in the case.

They have had to tell Salvator’s young son that his father is still alive.

Family members are hoping that witnesses will come forward.
