WALNUT CREEK (BCN) — At least one person is dead tonight after a vehicle crashed into a parked one in Walnut Creek, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was first reported at 9:06 p.m. at the intersection of Boulevard Way and Saranap Avenue, south of state Highway 24.

One person may have suffered a heart attack before the crash, CHP officials said.

The coroner has been called to the scene, CHP Officer William Ogilvie said.
