GERMAN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Clark County Sheriff’s Office searched a home in German Township and found 43 marijuana plants and other items in a home.

With the assistance of the R.A.N.G.E. Task Force and the German Township Police Department, deputies served a search warrant at 1801 Ballentine Pike in German Township Friday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, detectives found marijuana growing equipment, a handgun, a shotgun, three bulletproof vests, and nearly $3000 in cash along with the 43 plants.

Officials say the plants estimated to be worth $43,000, or $1000 per grown plant.

No one has been charged yet and the case will be presented to the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing.
