WESTMORELAND, Tenn. (WKRN) – Officers in Westmoreland stopped several cars on Sunday, but they weren’t passing out tickets.
They were handing out long-stemmed red roses to moms during their morning patrols.
The gesture was done to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Most of the drivers were shocked and then pleasantly surprised when they found out why they were pulled over.
The flowers were donated by the Westmoreland Council of the Arts.
