SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — An Oakland woman recorded her first marathon win Sunday at the 39th running of the San Francisco Marathon, race officials said.
Tori Tyler, 28, won the women’s division with a time of 2 hours, 49 minutes and 51 seconds. This was her first time running the San Francisco Marathon.
San Francisco’s Max Haines-Stiles, 30, won the overall race with a time of 2:30:42.
More than 27,000 runners ran in the city’s only full marathon. Runners raised more than $200,000 for charity.
