OAKLAND (KRON) — Oakland police are investigating a fatal shooting Monday afternoon, according to police spokeswoman Johnna Watson.
The shooting took place in West Oakland in the area of Eighth and Campbell streets at around 4 p.m., Watson said.
When officers arrived, they said they found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot. He was rushed to the hospital where he died, Watson said.
Police are still investigating the incident at the scene.
No other information has been made available by police.
