OAKLAND (KRON) — San Francisco could get the Warriors, but what they won’t get is a celebratory parade if the Warriors win the NBA championship this year.
That’s according to Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf who said “it’s happening” when she was asked about having the parade in her city. Schaff went on to say, “I’ve invited Mayor Lee to ride with me.”
However, there isn’t even a certainty that there will be a parade. The Warriors are one game up on the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals, but will have to win the entire championship for there to be a parade.
