Oakland 1 alarm fire burning in North Oakland apartment

OAKLAND (KRON) — Firefighters are responding to a one alarm apartment fire in North Oakland this afternoon, fire officials said.

The fire in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, near UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, was reported at 12:27 p.m., according to the fire department.

There are no evacuations at the moment, according to fire officials.
