MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — Google is looking to hire a graphic designer to help create the company’s often whimsical images that Google users have become accustomed to seeing on the search engine’s homepage.

Over the years more than 2,000 new Doodles have welcomed users to the site. The images are often created to mark historical events or celebrate holidays.

In the job posting, the technology giant said the “Doodler” would work with a team to “Pitch, create, collaborate and iterate on engaging, fun and beautiful artistic experiences on the Google homepage and beyond.”

The company describes the Doodles as “the change that is constant on Google.com.”

Google is looking for candidates who have experience in areas including illustration, graphic design, motion graphics, 3D modeling and character animation.
