UPDATE: Northbound lanes have reopened.
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A car fire has shut down northbound lanes all the way through the Golden Gate Bridge.
No word yet on any injuries or how long it will last. Traffic is shut down completely northbound, and a Sig-Alert has been issued..
No other information was immediately available. Drivers can expect major delays heading into Marin County from the bridge.
The southbound direction is still moving. CHP reports flames and smoke on the roadway.
