CONCORD (KRON) — Normal service has finally been restored between the Pittsburg/Bay Point and North Concord stations Tuesday morning.
After nearly a month of no regular train service between the two station, BART officials announced that the trains are now back on track.
Train service between the two stations has been halted ever since a voltage spike that damaged the propulsion systems of around 50 train cars. The problem first reported the morning of March 16.
Since then, passengers have had to rely on shuttle buses to transport them between the two stations.
