Update: There is no suspect yet in Saturday morning’s fatal shooting. Investigators are reportedly canvassing the area for possible witnesses, but police said Saturday morning that they did not yet have a description of the suspect.
HAYWARD (KRON) — Hayward police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting Saturday and KRON’s Averi Harper is on the scene.
The Alameda County coroner’s bureau was requested at the scene of a fatality in Hayward early this morning, according to bureau officials.
The coroner was called out to the 2700 block of Belvedere Court around 6 a.m.
Questions about the nature of the incident were referred to the Hayward Police Department. Hayward police were not immediately available for comment.
