OAKLAND (BCN) — Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire at a nutrition store Monday morning in Oakland, according to an Oakland Fire Department battalion chief.

The blaze was first reported around 5:10 a.m. at a three-story building in the 2700 block of International Boulevard, Battalion Chief Nick Luby said.

Firefighters were able to confine the blaze to the first floor of the building, where the store was located, before successfully extinguishing it.

No injuries were reported and a cause for the fire remains under investigation, according to Luby.
