SAN JOSE (KRON) — Four people walked away unscathed after their plane made an emergency landing on U.S. Highway 101 late Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At 11:04 p.m., the CHP received a report of the plane landing on Highway 101 just south of Coyote Creek Golf Drive, the CHP said.
The southbound lanes of the highway were temporarily shut down by police so that a tow truck count get the plane off the road.
There were no reports of the landing interfering with cars, and drivers were unaffected by the landing.
The Federal Aviation Administration has been called to investigate the incident, the dispatcher said.
