All classes and school activities for today (Wednesday) have been canceled at Vanden High School as authorities investigate an alleged threat of violence.
The Travis Unified School District announced the Wednesday closure on the district’s Facebook page Tuesday night.
According to officials, the closure is being done as a precautionary measure and for the safety of students and staff.
All other schools in the district are open Wednesday.
The investigation is ongoing.
