SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — NFL legend Jerry Rice will not be rooting for a team during this Sunday’s Super Bowl 50.

Rice spoke with KRON 4’s Will Tran at the Moscone Center in San Francisco Wednesday morning.

“I’m going to stay neutral,” Rice told Tran when asked who he wanted to win.

“I’m just hoping for a good football game. We have two exceptional quarterbacks with Peyton Manning and Cam Newton,” Rice told Tran.

He also told Tran about his experience posing as a Lyft driver in San Francisco on Tuesday.

Rice played in the NFL for 20 seasons and is known for being one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.
