New York pizzeria creates pizza box out of pizza

NEW YORK, New York (KRON) — A pizza box made out of pizza means no waste!

Vinnie’s Pizzeria in New York unveiled “The Pizza Box Pizza” this week, a traditional New York-style pepperoni pie surrounded by a square pizza that serves as the box.

“It’s a Sicilian pizza underneath, like a fluffy iScilian pizza that forms the pizza box,” owner Sean Berthiaume. “And then inside of it is another small pizza.”

The creator said he thought of the idea out of boredom.

He said it’s also a good way to not create waste.CNN contributed to this report.
