Due to the call coming from a cell phone, the self-identified mother of the victim is passed around by several dispatchers while they try to get an exact location of the crime. In the audio, the caller says she is not present at the home where the attack is taking place, but says her daughter told her to call authorities to report the assault.RAY MCDONALD ARRESTED
Not long after his 7 a.m. arrest, the Chicago Bears dropped McDonald from the team, citing: “He was not able to meet the standard and the decision was made to release him.”
Back in August, McDonald was released from jail after being arrested on felony domestic violence charges. San Jose Police said they reported to a domestic violence incident at his residence on the 2500 block of Bentley Ridge Drive in San Jose. Police say the victim had “visible injuries” and McDonald was taken into custody.
He eventually had his 2014 abuse charges dropped. The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s dropped the office 2014 abuse charges citing insufficient evidence to prove McDonald committed the crime during an altercation with the woman.
