New reports of Samsung Galaxy S7’s catching fire

(KRON/CNN) — Samsung is back at it again with the exploding phones.

More reports have surfaced that other Galaxy S7 devices have burst into flames, similar to what happened with the Note 7s.

Last month, Samsung halted production and sales of the Galaxy Note 7 phone after failing to correct a problem that caused the devices to explode.

For now, the largest mobile phone maker is urging users not to freak out about reports related to its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.

In a statement, Samsung said: “There have been no confirmed cases of internal battery failures with these devices, among the more than 10 million devices being used by consumers in the United States.”
