A speech President Trump made this weekend in Nevada is raising some eyebrows.
The president addressed the crowd during a “Make America Great Again” rally at Elko Regional Airport on Saturday.
There, he claimed riots were taking place in California.
“I don’t think we like sanctuary cities up here. By the way, a lot of people in California don’t want them either. They’re rioting now. They want to get out of their sanctuary cities,” he said.
There have been no reports of rioting in California because of sanctuary cities, particularly none on Saturday.
Trump spoke at the rally in an effort to galvanize Republican voters ahead of next month’s midterm elections.
