ATLANTA (CNN) — Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish says she’s postponing her June 22 show at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre over Georgia’s controversial new abortion law.

The governor signed the bill last month. It bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected.

That’s as early as six weeks into pregnancy — when many women don’t know they’re pregnant yet.

Haddish said she loves Georgia, but she can’t in good faith perform there until the bill is withdrawn.

Other celebrities have also spoken out about the law.

Some filmmakers and producers are even saying they won’t film projects in Georgia anymore.

The state has been the location for the filming of multiple TV shows and blockbuster films in recent years.
