As Tropical Storm Florence continues its path on the East Coast, thousands have evacuated while others who chose to stay are without power.

Maybe an ark would be useful?

Cue Arkup — touted as “livable yachts” because of their buoyance, which allows them to bob in the water.

The designs debuted in 2017 and the company partnered with The Advantaged Yacht Charters and Sales, which is the oldest yacht charter company in Miami, to make the yachts available for rent and purchase.

Reservations started to become available in August.

Each unit is 4,350-square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

Of course, you can expect 360-degree views of the water.

The price range on one of these yachts? A cool $2 to $3 million.

Seems like a steal, right?

Just yesterday we told you about a 0.7-acre-lot in Sunnyvale up for sale at $5 million, so, you be the better judge!

The homes have zero emissions and are powered by solar panel roofs.

Residents are even able to disconnect from sewage lines thanks to a system that collects, stores, and purifies rainwater.

The designers say the unit moves just like a regular yacht.
