TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Google is launching one of its biggest Gmail updates in nearly a decade.
It will include priority features, a new design, and most importantly new security protections.
E-mails with sensitive information can be put in “confidential mode”.
This allows users to set an expiration date and the sender is in charge of how long it lives in another’s inbox.
There’s also an email snoozing option. This means you can save and reply to important messages at a later date.
You can also now control whose eyes end up on your email.
There is a feature that keeps people from forwarding, printing, copying or downloading your emails.
The updates start rolling out today but will take some time to reach all users.
