TACOMA, WA (WCMH) – A Washington man was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant.
The shooting happened Sunday at a restaurant in Tacoma, Washington, KOMO reported.
“A bunch of people start running down towards the end and then they said somebody has a gun, so everybody starts running,” said Nick Jones, who was there with his four-year-old son to celebrate a relative’s birthday.
Nick’s father, Larry Jones, said he tried to help the man.
According to police, the man shot himself in the leg. Nobody else was injured.
Police said the man had a concealed carry permit and he was carrying the gun legally.
