Parents, if you shop at The Children’s Place, listen up!
The retailer is recalling nearly 15,000 infant snowsuits due to a possible choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday.
Officials say the snowsuits, which were sold in stores and online from August through November of this year, may have metal snaps that can detach and pose as a choking hazard for young children.
The recall includes two styles of girls’ infant snowsuits sold in sizes 0 to 18 months:
- Style number 2111187 was sold in White Sophy floral and Jazzberry ladybug patterns
- Style number 2111188 came in Rosebud heart
The style number can be found on the label sewn in to the side of the seam.
If you have the recalled snowsuits, you’re urged to return them to The Children’s Place for a refund.
No injuries have been reported.
