Michael Dellegrazie wants answers.
His dog, an 8-year-old pomeranian named Alejandro, was found dead in his kennel on a Delta flight last Wednesday.
The plane took off from Phoenix and was headed to Newark when it made a scheduled stop in Detroit.
That’s when a flight attendant checked on Alejandro, according to Delta.
Two hours later, the dog was dead.
“Seeing that blanket, there’s some kind of foul play [that] happened there. That’s all I can think of,” Dellegrazie said. “We want to know what happened to our dog. Why did this happen?”
Delta released a statement saying they are conducting a thorough review of the incident.
