The Department of Agriculture announced a recall of Bob Evans Farms’ sausage links Thursday.
The company is recalling more than 46,000 pounds of links because they maintain “extraneous materials,” including hard plastic.
Bob Evans said the concerns were related to five specific products distributed in 12 states.
Customers are advised to throw away any affected products or return them to the store.
The recalled sausage links are marked EST 6785 and were produced on Aug. 1.
The USDA says there haven’t been any confirmed reports of injury or illness related to the recalled items.
