A suspect linked to a string of killings in Arizona has been found dead inside a hotel room.
Phoenix police say they tracked the suspect to the hotel and set up an arrest operation on Monday morning. The suspect has been identified as 56-year-old Dwight Lamon Jones.
Shots were fired from inside the suspect’s room and officers entered to find him dead from an apparent gunshot wound. No one else was hurt.
The investigation began on Thursday with the shooting death of a psychiatrist, who was involved in the investigation into the death of Jon Benét Ramsey in 1996.
Two paralegals were then gunned down in the same area Friday.
A fourth victim was found shot to death Saturday at a mental health facility.
