GOODYEAR, Ariz. (WNCN) – Police in Goodyear, Arizona, say they have arrested a sixth-grade teacher accused of sexual misconduct with one of her students.
The Las Brisas Academy in Goodyear notified police of their concerns about 27-year-old Brittany Zamora earlier this week, police say.
“The allegations were brought to the principal by the parent of the victim who found text messages between the 6th grade teacher and her 13 y/o male student indicating sexual activity both on and off campus,” police wrote.
Zamora was arrested Thursday at the school, police say.
