SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — There is a Heat Advisory in effect for the inland valleys from 11am to 8 pm tonight. Expect to see temperatures in the mid 90s to low 100s.
A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is expected. Hot temperatures will create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids stay in an air-conditioned room stay out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors. Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle for any length of time. - Impacts Hot Temperatures Can Lead To Heat Stress Or Heat Exhaustion Particularly For The Elderly Or Those Engaging In
- Strenuous Outdoor Activities. Dangerously Hot Conditions Can Rapidly Develop In A Parked Non-ventilated Vehicle.
