Napa County fire burns 65 acres, 100 percent contained

NAPA (KRON) — Crews are working to put out a brush fire in Napa County that broke out Monday night.

According to Cal Fire, the Creek Fire erupted around 4:15 p.m. and it is near Dry Creek, Mount Veeder and Wall Roads in Napa County. The fire is approximately 65 acres.


Crews said the fire is 100 percent contained at this time, and multiple air and ground units are responding.

One structure is threatened and so far no injuries have been reported.

Evacuation orders and road closures have been lifted in the areas of Campbell Flats and Campbell Creek.

Crews said there is an evacuation center at Crosswalk Community Church in the gym at 2590 1st Street in Napa.

As of 8:38 p.m. Cal Fire crews said, the brush fire in Napa County is at 50 acres and is 20 percent contained.
