NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An 18-year-old nanny was raped while caring for 3-year-old twins at a Nashville recreational center.
According to Metro police, it happened midday Thursday at the Hamilton Creek Recreation Center off Bell Road.
Authorities say the teen was near the swing set with the kids when they saw a suspicious man in a black car nearby.
As they moved toward the BMX bike track to get away from him, he reportedly followed them and attacked the teen.
During the attack, the victim fought the man and lost a tooth in the process.
She also told the children to run.
After the attacker left, the nanny drove the kids home and called police.
The suspect is described as a man of Hispanic descent, between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall.
He was wearing khaki pants and a black shirt with possible black stripes and sunglasses.
Police say he fled in a black four-door sedan, possibly an early 2000s model, with tinted windows and a spoiler on the back.
The car also had factory wheels.
