MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Horry County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a convenience store where the robber was naked.

According to an incident report, officers were called to the Scotchman Store on Port Drive, just off US 17 Bypass last Monday just after midnight for a robbery call.

The clerk said the man never said anything or approached him.

The naked bandit is described as a black male wearing a bandanna over his face and had on black shoes.

The suspect in that case, a 17-year-old, was eventually arrested after stealing an estimated $600 worth of candy.
