My KRON 4: Antioch sprinkler system wasting water at public park

ANTIOCH (KRON) — Anger Thursday night in Antioch about a sprinkler system that’s wasting water in a public park.

With extreme drought conditions, and water cuts in place, one Antioch resident tells KRON 4’s Haaziq Madyun that the city should lead by example.

Residents said sprinklers overspraying water onto the concrete walking path at Country Manor Park in Antioch is a big water waster.

The KRON 4 viewer, who asked not to reveal his identity, said water has been wasted there for several days, and because of the drought, he decided to take some action.
