SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Munchkin is recalling pacifiers due to a choking hazard, according to CNN.
The company is recalling 180,000 of its LatchTM lightweight pacifiers in several styles and color patterns.
A little plastic cover that goes over the pacifier’s clip can detach, the company determined.
The Van Nuys company received five reports each from Canada and the United States of the clip detaching. No injuries have been reported.
The pacifiers were sold at Babies”R”Us, Target, Walmart and other locations. They were also sold online at sites such as Amazon.com.
Details on the recall can be found on the commission’s recall page.
The commission recommends parents take the clip away from young children and contact Munchkin for a replacement or a refund at 877-242-3134 or www.munchkin.com.
