SANTA CRUZ (BCN) — A mountain lion was spotted Saturday afternoon in Santa Cruz, police said.
A person reported seeing the cat at 3 p.m. in the 100 block of Escalona Drive near state Highway 1.
Police and State Fish & Game Wardens patrolled the area looking for the mountain lion and they advised residents to be cautious and secure pets and children.
